FF - Affinity Adsorbents

The adsorbents consist of Sepharose FF (Fast Flow 6B, Pharmacia Biotech) and saccharides covalently bound to the matrix via flexible polymer. Hydrophilic polymer acts as a spacer-arm between the matrix and ligand. The adsorbents remain stable in buffers over a wide pH range (3-11), they are mechanically stable and are not affected by proteolytic enzymes. The adsorbents can be regenerated (with buffer of pH 3 or 9) and used repeatedly without decrease in activity.
